Hello. We use AB PowerFlex 7000 drives in a pump station. The operator just called to report a fault on one drive:
"STATUS: Faulted"

"FAULT: DI Contactor"
5fwh

We can clear the fault and the motor restarts, but it recurs a few moments later.

I have searched Rockewell's manual with list of fault codes to no avail. Does anyone have any info on what this means? I assume it points to a problem with the Drive Input contactor (see this manual, page 9).

Could this fault be related to the electronic interlocks associated with isolation switch etc? Not sure where to begin diagnosis.

Thanks for any pointers.

I believe it is telling you that it is not getting a Digital Input feedback from the line input contactor. That could mean that the contactor is dropping out, or the aux contact is opening or the circuit to it is.
