Hi!

I'm working with a project consisting of:

Simatic Step 7
CPU315-2 DP (6ES315-2AG10-0AB0)
CU310-2 DP (6SL3040-1LA00-0AA0)
PM240-2 (6SL3210-1PE22-7AL0)
SMC20 (6SL3055-0AA00-5BA3)
Motor (1FT6084-1AF71-1EG1)

I have successfully programmed my CPU to run the Servo via ProfiBus with the block FB283 and a VAT-Table.

In an earlier project I've used a S7-1200 (TIA-Portal) to run a S120-Drive via ProfiNet and the block FB284 (SINA_POS), which was very easy to use.

Is there anybody out there knowing if the FB284 (SINA_POS) exists or if anybody have made one for Step 7?

Best Regards
Christoffer

That's right!

Have used that example already as explained above and now wonder if FB284 (not FB283), which is easier to implement, can be found for Step 7?

Ive only seen that exact block in TIA Portal
In Portal theres a 300/400 version and 1200/1500 like you stated

I think the Sina POS for positioning and Sina Para for parameter read/writes is easier.
I have my own Telegram 111 block for Step7 V5.x :)
