Could someone please give me a good free website to learn how to set up and program a HMI for Allen Bradley PLCs? I work with PLCs but do not work with HMIs and would like to learn. Thank you in advance.

It does not have to be an Allen Bradley HMI, because I am just interested in learning HMI to PLC in general. Thank you.

Check out Ignition by Inductive Automation. They have a few Panel Edition that you can use for Real time control, and it includes an AB Ethernet OPC server as well.

The Red Lion Crimson Software is free, and you can try out building an HMI Application. I am sure there are others as well.

Look for a demo version... most HMI's have a demo verion that you can use and learn on, I would suggest what ever you are using in your plant contact that manufacture or look at their website for a demo, this is for a PC based HMI

If you are looking for a hardware/HMI the (as sthompson has said) Red Lions VERY good

Hi Archie, where can I found out about what drivers you have? Do you have anything for BACnet/IP?
Which IVC panels is the most suitable? I have some budget constraints, so I was thinking of:

But does not seem to have an SD card.

Currently it only supports SLC/Micro over serial or Ethernet/IP, Beckhoff TwinCAT, and some limited Modbus.

AdvancedHMI currently only runs on XP, Windows 7, or XP embedded, so the panel you are looking at will not work because it is Windows CE. It will work with this series that has XP Embedded:

It will also run on a standard desktop/laptop
