Hi ,

Off topic sorry ( but you guys know everything )

I'm looking for a Led driver circuit board

We have a very old mimic board
It has led indicators in the display that are driven by a circuit board

I'm after replacing it ( some of the outputs don't work )

It has no markings on it to indicate who made it

I am not sure yet whether it is 24v or 110v in
But it has led supply voltage terminals as outputs

So I'm looking for a new cìrcuit board
8 channel or 16 channel in
8/16 led out
24v or 110v input

If anyone can point me towards a replacement board

Thanks
Mike

Thanks Garry

But It's a very simple circuit board I'm After

8 or 16 connections in 24v or 110v
8 led connections out to drive single LED 's

If anyone has a link to this type of mimic board driver card

Many thanks in advance

Mike

Need a bit more info. Can't see why a driver is needed. Maybe they're using optoisolators. Even then, I don't see the need.
If it was 24 Volt, all you need on each LED is a 2.4K resistor. For 120V, a diode and 10K, 2 Watt resistor in series.
Can you post a hi-res photo of PCB that I can zoom in on? Any chip numbers?

eebads2391,

older style display boards were bcd based.
this meant for every digit, there were 4 outputs to the display to control what the numbers were.

if your circuit board has a 2 digit display, there would be 8 outputs.
if the circuit board display has 4 digits, there would be 16 outputs.

is this circuit board controlled by a plc or do you input the number you want to display by manipulating a thumbwheel switch and pressing a button?
guessing at the last statement.

Cheers guys
I'll get a photo
Yes the only advantage is presumably isolation
It drives single LEDs not an array or display / number LED

The input to the pcb is 8 inputs of either 24v or 110 v
From proximity switches on plant
Thanks

Looks like custom boards. Wirewrap at bottom. You may need to service the boards by replacing IC's. Does something plug into the red connector, or is that testpoints?
Post photos/numbers of IC's, and I'll help source replacements.
From top to bottom it looks like diode, resistor array, driver IC, resistor array.
Are LEDs connected to wirewrap wires at bottom of PCB? Assuming that's the output side.
