AB Controllogix PLC to PLC security

Happy new year all

I have several PLC’s that I need to pass data between, but don’t want anyone to be able to reach another PLC with programming software,
In Siemens I would do this with a Coupler, in Mitsubishi I would use dedicated ethernet cards for the data transfer,
What would the equivalent method be in Allen Bradley?

Wouldn't password control do it?
A firewall?

Passwords get leaked, physical firewall possibly, is it something that could be done with a Stratex switch?
