I can already tell this is taboo; but I am genuinely curious if anybody has attempted this via WINE or any other emulation software yet? I am a Linux guy at heart and work off a windows VM but I would like to run some native stuff on my desktop. Anybody ever attempted to try this? I am not expecting much but its worth a shot to ask.

Not taboo at all :)

Unfortunately, Rockwell has so intertwined their software with Windows, that it won't run under WINE.
