Dear all,

It's my first time configuring the cimplicity taking values from a remote Kepware OPC server on a Windows Server 2012 station.

I have done the DCOM configuration on both the server and client stations, by following the steps in the link below:
http://www.softwaretoolbox.com/dcom/html/dcom_for_windows_7-_8-_-_server_2008.html

And I am following the steps in the document below for Cimplicity driver configuration.
https://www.kepware.com/support/resource-library/client-connectivity-guides/ge-cimplicity.pdf

By using Kepware OPC client, I can remote access the Kepware OPC server and read the values.
But when I configure the driver in Cimplicity, I typed the IP address of the OPC Server and started scanning the Kepware OPC server. It shows a popup message:
Error: Access denied connecting to computer 9.0.0.13.
EnumClassesOfCategories.
(9.0.0.13 is the IP address of the OPC server)

Did anyone successfully configure the cimplicity to remote Kepware OPC server before?
I have spent 3 days trying to find the root cause but no progress was made so far.

Any insights are highly appreciated.

Chao
