After shipping a machine to the customer on power up some of the hmi fields are corrupted most are ok,comms ok

Welcome to the forum. I think you're going to need to provide some more information. Can you post screenshots of what "corrupted" looks like? Are we talking PanelView Plus?
Just guessing out loud, you see ????? in some objects, or they have the default blue color with ERROR in them? If that is the case, common cause in my microcosm is there are multiple MER's (assuming PVP) on the terminal, an older one is set to run on boot.
