Wondering? Do the RA knowledge base links posted by forum members here not work for you?

Anyway, this might be against forum rules, but it is a RA Access Level: Everyone > so here it is...

Perfect information.

I guess I am not very good with the RA knowledge database.
A lot of you are a lot better than me navigating the RA knowledge database.
Thank you.

So, the problem still remains.
I tried to download a new firmware from Panelbuilder 3.83/3.82/3.81/3.71/3.70 to a 2711-B6C8/B/3.15 & I am still getting the same error 25 (boot code incompatibility) using the ATA flashcard method.
Thank you.

If your terminal currently has version 3.15, I think you will only be able to install up to version 4.20 firmware onto it.

That firmware was, according to the Knowledgebase, bundled with PanelBuilder32 versions 3.71 and 3.80 only.

To my knowledge, the firmware revision is not included in the directory path or in the filename so it is critical that you know the source of your specific firmware file, i.e. which PanelBuilder32 CD or installation file it came from.

Remember also that if you're using the ATA card method, you must obtain the firmware files from the \PVFirmware\PV_Terminal_FW\FW_Card\ directory.
