I am trying to replace an old Relience system with S7-300.
The system has an encoder that uses external 220V supply and has 12V A,A*,B,B*.

As you know FM350-1 will only supply 24V or 5V encoders. Can I use the external supply and connect the A,A*,B,B* signals to FM350?
Should I try 24V or 5V for the setting?
