I could not find a thread with this specific message so I am trying it here. When running Studio 5000 and trying to add an EDS file it gives this message. "To add new devices or remove devices from the system you must have sufficient privileges on your operating system. It appears that you cannot write to the EDS file directory." I have verified I have adminstrative privileges and can write to any of those folders. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software as admin also with same result. I contacted IT support and they cannot find anything on my computer that i do not have access to. Anyone have any ideas?
