How do you insert another members reply or post into your reply or post?

From the same thread and from a different thread?

I think you are talking about the "quote" option.

You can press the quote button to reply with a quote. It is located at the bottom right of each post. Once you see how the quotes are triggered by the commands in square brackets, you can copy and paste them to format your replies.
