I have a FTView trend which is set to poll historical data and is displaying data in a data log model. I have scrolling disabled as I only want to show 8 hours of data on the x-axis for each day. When the screen loads, I use the VBA function "SetStartTimeandSpan" to set the x-axis for each day. Under "Chart Update mode" I have it set to automatic, every 10 seconds.
When I open the screen, the data that has been logged shows up, but if I stay on the screen, the new data that's being logged is not being updated on the chart. If I go to a different screen, and then go back to the trend screen, then the data is displayed. I tried using the VBA "RefreshChart" function which doesn't do anything.
There is also the VBA "NewData" function, but it looks like that one is to be used to directly get the data from the PLC and not a datalog model.
I also tried looking for a "display reload" function in VBA but there doesn't seem to be one. I'm using FTView SE v4.0. If anyone has found a workaround for this, please let me know.
