Need New PLC Suggestions

I have a new project and I cannot use my standard PLCs from Automation Direct as none have a CSA certification. I'm trying to keep costs for hardware and software down. What would any of you fine folks suggest, that does have a CSA certification? Thank you very much in advance.

Too many to mention and here are the questions I ask myself:

- What's the power supply, how many inputs and outputs, transistor or relay output, serial communication or not, HMI or not, safety integrated or not, HSC or not, remote IOs or not?
-What is the likelihood I will need to expand the project in the not so distant future?
-How complex is the code likely to be?
-Which plc programming software am I most comfortable with?
-What software do I already own?
-What hardware and software have I been wanting to learn or curious about and is this the time to try it out?

The last two projects I had about two minutes to answer those questions, order the hardware, go home and start programming to get the project working by the following morning. So what mattered most was what software I was comfortable with and then ordered the hardware with more capabilities than what I needed.

Good questions. I have all the software for Directsoft, and am comfortable with it, I also have the Omron STI G9SP software and am comfortable there too. There will be aprox. 50 ins, and 50 outs. I prefer relay outs. Yes, I do need to use an HMI or two. I won't need to expand in the near future. PLC and control power will be 24VDC. No safety integration, just machine control. Simple logic, no motion control. Thanks for the assist.

Check if Automation Direct has cUL certification. This is acceptable in Canada.

If you look at the Do-More series of PLC's from Automation Direct they are listed as CUL approved.
