One of my customers is interested in extracting some data from a machine running on an SLC503 and they really don't want to change the PLC in any way so upgrading to a 505 would probably not be what they want to do.

Has anyone had any success converting DF1 or DH485 to Ethernet/IP or modbus or something similar in an Ethernet flavour using some sort of adapter?

Best regards,

Nick

Is a small Red Lion HMI or similar out of the question? Df1 From the 5/03 to block transfer and send out ethernet. We do it alot. Cheaper and better than the ENI.

Thanks All,

That Moxa unit looks like it will do the job. I've used other Moxa units in the past so I should have thought to look at them.
