Using a CompactLogix L33ER - How many Controller and Program Tags can you have ?

Good Morning ,

I'm using a CompactLogix L33ER CPU . A number of my tags are going to be REAL. I looked in the processor manual , and could not find anything clear about the number of tags allowed , controller or program tags . Would you folks have any idea how many ?

Page 63, and it'll depend on the memory in your specific controller.

I believe the minimum size of a Tag is 4 bytes, with a lot of caveats based on UDTs and bit overlay wizardy.

I believe its as many as you like until you run out memory.

2048 kBytes of memory
So you can have a little bit shy of 500,000 reals, at either scope.
