Hello,

We had a power break today and 4 Simatic servers have rebooted.
After reboot all 4 servers are giving an alarm sound...

Anyone knows how to shut up them without throwing them out the window ? (y)

Thanks,

Kind regards,
Combo

Not sure what's causing the alarm. Is the software beeping, or is it HW?

If HW, could be the raid array checking itself, if that's a thing in your servers.

Possibly also a cranky UPS?

Hi,

Single power,
On the back there is a red button, that was the warning reset button. I pressed that one and it is solved now.

Thanks,

Do these servers have dual power supplies?

I've had this in the past where if one supply failed it would beep until fixed.
