Ron, I suffer from CRS-II. What I can't remember, I make up as I go along...

In the first attached PDF file, it appears that the 9300-USBS Adapter only converts from a computer USB port to a Serial (RS232) port, and it does not also convert from RS232 to RS485, so you will need another adapter to do that. The traditional one for Allen-Bradley SLC's was the 1747-PIC (Personal Computer Interface Card), but nowdays you need the 1747-UIC.
