Dear all
Is it required power module after filling 4 cards as I am getting some error during compiling A power supply module is required within 4 slots on the left?Is there any way to solve without adding a power supply?

I assume you are using a Micro870 model controller?

These support up to 8 Expansion I/O modules but you must provide additional power after the first 4 modules to power any additional modules.
This is done by adding a 2085-EP24VDC Expansion I//O Power Supply...



You must provide a suitable 24VDC supply to this unit...
21.4...26.4VDC Class 2 or Limited Voltage Limited Current Source (LVLC)
I/O module capacity 4
Power consumption, max 24 W

Note: The 2085-EP24VDC Expansion I/O Power Supply is only supported by the Micro870 model controller.
