Does anyone have the pinout for the cable I would need to connect an HMI screen built with National Instruments Lookout software to a Modicon Quantum PLC modbus port?

Thanks.

Dean

The Quantum controller RS232 port is:
sub-D 9 pin socket
1 shield
2 RX
3 TX
4 DTR
5 ground
6 DSR
7 RTS
8 CTS
9 no connection

Most HMI applications require jumpers between pins 4-6 and 7-8.
