I have a slight problem with a Siemens Scalance switch S602 that I need to configure.
I need to put a production line on our local server.
The production line is line the range
172.168.x.x
subnet 255.255.255.0
our local plant network is in the range
10.10.x.x
255.255.254.0
I am suppose to use a gateway setting of
10.10.x.y
I tried various configurations with the SCT software to set the scalance up to allow data flow from the external network to the internal network and vica versa. I am unable to ping any device on the internal network from the external network.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
