Totolizer (RSLogix TOT Instruction)

Hello,

What's the working principle of a totalizer and how can the TOT instruction in RSLogix be used to calculate or accumulate Flow ?

It actually uses a flow value to calculate a total by sampling the slow value at specific intervals and adding to the total value.

But how's that accomplished using the TOT instruction ?

It integrates the flow over time by adding together the instantaneous flow.

I understand the theory. My question is how is the TOT instruction set up in other to accomplish this ?

Just a note that the TOT instruction is not available in Ladder, just Function Block and Structured Text.
