NPN and PNP Sensors

Sensors

Thanks Terry for you excellent explanation and history on the sensors. This helped me clear some confusion.

To summarize: The standard is now NPN - Sinking and PNP Sourcing but it is not an electrical requirement.

Are all Sensors which can be sinking or sourcing like the "Effector"?

(ALT-130 - press and hold the atl key and type in 130) This is the only way that I could get the accent on my last name using this American/English Keyboard!
