RSLogix5000 wants FactoryTalk Password

i had this same issue and ended up going to "windows control panel" and then "user accounts" then "manage user accounts" and adding each user as admin, im sure this will go for network users and local users. (btw this was on windows 10) i then was not presented with a user name password dialog box

Hmm... I'm on a local VM no domain and it was working but now it wants me to log on to FactoryTalk Network. The only local user I ever use is already in the Administrators group. ???

I had renamed the VMs computer name. This seemed to fix it.

Just run C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Rockwell\silentFTDCW.exe to reset.
