Reading a Text File From Wonderware

This is my first post and I think this is a great website. I am currently trying to read a .txt file from a remote computer on the network, into Wonderware 10.0. Has anyone out there done anything similar to his? How about about .csv file? For now a .txt file is all we get but there may be a chance that the data can be put into a .csv file.

There are other functions to read/write csv as well.

could you explain in a little more detail exactly what you are trying to do. are you trying to to a DB load e.g.???

I am trying to get data (numbers) from a third party that says that they can only give me the data in a text files. This data is in a remote PC on the network.
