FactoryTalk Activation

Dear Sir,

I want to upgrade factorytalk site edition. Running version of scada is 6.10 and I have to update it into a 8.10 version. Is I require a new activation for newer version? or is activation ok for all newer version.

Your existing activation should be fine. The activation is not unique for different versions.

Some older RA software used a different tool (called EVMOVE) for activation, but 6.1 would be using the newer FactoryTalk Activation method so you should be fine.
