Powerflex 525 ethernet messaging to SLC or CMORE

So I have read and read and found little on this through forums and other research. I figured I would share it while its fresh in my mind. The first portion of this pertains to the now much outdated SLC 500 series. The second specifically CMore HMI's.

First scenario client asked to have said machine run on existing plc; outdated SLC 5/05. Subject making the new Powerflex 525 communicate via the plc and take frequency commands from the plc. The following must be done in order to accomplish this.

1. Make new File in program
2. Add 2 new Integer files, the first containing at least 156 integers. The second containing at least 3 integers.
3. following in ascii text the timers, integers, bits and IP addresses are examples do not assume entering this would result in just working!
rung 1:XIC B3:3:0/1 XIO T4:28/DN TON T4:28 timebase:0.01 preset: 800

rung 2:XIO T4:28/DN MSG Write 500CPU Local Control Block [N11:0] MultiHop( SLC:1->ENET:"10.96.104.2" ) This controller [N12:3] Target Device [N42:3]

rung 3:XIO T4:28/DN MSG Write 500CPU Local Control Block [N11:52] MultiHop( SLC:1->ENET:"10.96.104.2" ) This controller [N12:0] Target Device [N41:0]

rung 4:XIO T4:28/DN MSG Write 500CPU Local Control Block [N11:104] MultiHop( SLC:1->ENET:"10.96.104.2" ) This controller [N12:2] Target Device [N41:2]

The rest of the rung writing your logic and then writing a MOV command and sending it to N12:2
MOV source 3900 dest N12:2

In the above example of the MOV statement the source would equate to
39 hertz

The same can be done if you are wanting to route the frequency from the HMI specifically a CMORE which this was done on. Your MOV statement would read as the following example.

MOV source HMI NUMERIC ENTRY PUSHBUTTON N7:1 dest N12:2
