Hi

I am using 1756 IB16 and 1756 OB16E modules, when i configure these modules, i can see 32 bit data tags instead of 16.

Pls let me know i need to use the bits form 0 to 15 for 16 channel is it?

Use bit's 0-15 for the data, "Local:4:I.Data.00 - Local:4:I.Data.15" Same for the Output.

32 bits is the native size for the ControlLogix, so it is much more common to see modules use at least 32 bits (but there are actually more... The output module for example, has a 32bit output area, and a 32 bit input area which reflects the output status, and another 32 bit input area which reflects the channel fault status (for the OB16E). There are more 32 bit words in the configuration data as well.
