How to Using type data string on PLC M221

Hello guys,
i want to use string data type in plc m221 by Schneider electric.

to transmit data from software scada expert vijeo citect to plc m221.

I want to create data username and password on vijeo citect and sending to plc. the data used must be an integer and a string
but usually I use integer type data, i have never sent string data type to plc m221.
can you help me to solve this problem?
