Hi All,

Sorry if this has already been asked but I could not find more details for this type of application.

I have not used a 1769-HSC/B module in compact logics before. We normally use the Spectrum Counter 1756-CTR8 modules in the control logics.
In that type of application, we just took the rate for channel x and divided it by a k factor to get a flow rate in the units we needed.
And the same type of math for the volume using the raw counts.

I was just wondering, since i can't test this live since we do not actually have these cards in the office, if i would be doing roughly the same with these modules. I see they have built in data types when i added the module to the project and I do see a current rate, current count and stored count.

I am hoping someone here has used these modules in similar application and let me know if I'm on the right track? I spoke w/Rockwell support and they could not find any sample logic using turbine meters to send.

Thanks.
