Trying to trend tags in Studio5k, "Error: Access Denied"

Not sure what the issue is, there is no security enable on the project and I can download and go online normally. If I hit run to try and trace some variables, no tracing occurs and my error window text becomes:

"Error: Access denied.
Complete - 1 errors(s), 0 warning(s)"

This is v21 on an L30ER if that makes any difference.

I really need to trace some variables to catch a high speed handshake gone wrong.

We did an upload from the PLC to another laptop and tracing works fine. I guess I need to renew my trending license?
