Logix5000 Task Monitor 3.4.1.0 and L85E CPU

Hi. I have a L85E CPU with FW 28.12. I can see the CPU in Linx but when I select it in the Logix Task Monitor v 3.4.1.0 I am not able to start the monitor. Has anyone had any luck connecting to a L85E controller with the task monitor tool, and if so can you please advise what version you are using? Thanks!
 
If your PC has Logix Designer v30 installed, Logix Task Monitor 3.4.x.x.x will not be functional due to .NET Framework 4.6 or newer incompatibility.

What about RSLinx, NET Framework and FactoryTalk Services Platform?

RSLinx cannot be v3.90.

NET Framework cannot be 4.6.

FTSP cannot be v2.90.
 
Is there a way to still be able to check outgoing messages/Communication usage? The web-server seems really lackluster.
