SMC EX250-SEN1 modbus TCP and IO scanning with Quantum PLC

Hi,

I need help to read the inputs registers of an EX250-SEN1-X133 in modbus TCP. The IO scanning of the Quantum NOE 771 01 card does not allow the reading of those registers (3:??). No problem activating the output by writing the holding registers (4:??), but a need to read the inputs and the manuel of the EX250-SEN1-X133 says its in the 3:?? register???

How did you get the outputs to fire? Dealing with the same garbage SMC product here.

The documentation for the Modbus/TCP EX250 is non-existent. Try the documentation for the EX600:

If you have the choice, use Ethernet/IP next time.

I've used the EX600 over Ethernet/IP several times with great results each time. I'd second that advice if it's not too late.

Same experience with the EX600.
Very easy setup, i use many of them, with the input modules and valves.
