Hello all,

I’ve recently begun using Automation Studio on my own time to boost my knowledge of controllers beyond AB/Siemens. To ease myself into it I’ve been rewriting some AB programs in ladder in Automation Studio. Many of these programs are broken into subroutines and as I cannot figure out how to use package variables in a function I figured Action files would be a good way to encapsulate this code. However, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to call the Action file in my main cyclic program file.

If I add an Action Block there’s no way to link the Action file I’ve created to the block and therefore no way to call the Action.

What am I doing wrong here??
