Micrologix 1100 to micrologix 1200 connection

Hey everyone!
I have got 4 micrologix 1200 plcs which are already programmed in rs logix 500
Now I am trying to write a ladder program for micrologix 1100 so that I can read the data from 4 micrologix 1200 plcs and check their status
Any suggestions from where should I start?

You'll have to network them first. Since the ML1100 has Ethernet capability, I would use serial-to-ethernet converters (like Digi One IAP) to make a small ethernet network. Use the MSG instruction pointed to a particular IP address to read data.

BTW, you can set up a single IAP to connect two serial devices to a single physical ethernet connection. Consider this option if the ML1200s are fairly close to one another
