Hello all,

We have a MM440 and 2 limit switches and one rotate encoder. And the MM440 is on profibus-dp.

The encoder will tell the position so we could control the motor to stop at any place (no need to be accurate) through profibus, while the up and down limit switches are the protection.

Also I would like to have the down limit switch to be able to use as the home switch ( i.e. zero the encoder counts)

Does anyone know if this will work?

Best regards
