Hi, everyone.
I'm new at this forum and I don't have much experience with PLC's, VFD's, DeviceNet's, etc. At my work we have DeviceNet network with three 160SSC Bulletin controllers. One of them failed and as you probably know these type of controllers are obsolete.
In a few other machines with DeviceNet network we have installed PowerFlex 70's and we have them in stock, so I thought maybe we could use it.
My question is: Is it possible to convert AB Bulletin 160 to PowerFlex 70.
I've read this http://www.ab.com/support/abdrives/conversion/160_pf4class_convert.pdf
but this is only about conversion Bulletin 160 to PowerFlex 4/4M/40
If the conversion is possible what will I have to do? Will changing drive's and DeviceNet parameters be enough or I will have to make additional changes in a PLC program.
Thank you
