Hi I am trying to find a suitable OPC server for the above plc. I will be using the ethernet port on the processor and not via the sperate 2572 module. Can any one advise. much appreciated....

Have you contacted Kepware? I would guess the OPC suite for Simantic 505's will work, but I would ask before buying.
The 2500's are supposed to be direct replacements for the old 505 line, I would guess it still uses the same communcations scheme.
