AB RSLogix 5000 - Adding Routine in Run Mode (Online Edits)

Hello Experts,

Will there be any issue if i add a routine Online in Run Mode?? Will it require a download? I don't have a live PLC for simulation everything will be done on site.

How can add a routine without requiring a download or without interrupting Run mode operation? Its an additional Phase for separate process that will used in the future. Just needed to be added in the program. Should i put it in Unscheduled Phases?

Yes you can add routines while running. You can add tasks and programs as well. I would do the programming offline then export and import into the running application, very simple.
