s7 200 PLC with a TS adapter

Hi fellow Control Engineers,
I have a s7 300 plc which I communicate with a MPI to usb and a Ts adapter.
I have a s7 200 plc which I communicate with a PPI to usb but I cannot get it talking with a TS adapter.

What I really need is a PPI to DB9 RS232 adapter. Is there any other way I have a TS adapter and a TSA ][ modem.

The reason for all this is I have a serial device server that gives me a virtual com port over ethernet to the PLC - works great for S7 300 now for S7 200. Any Ideas Please?

If the S7-300 woks o.k on MPI, It may be an option to add a DP module to the S7-200 and link to the TS adaptor, never done this but might give you another option?

Connected profibus cable with terminators on either side the same one I use for programming S7 300. Connected it up to s7300=works then to s7 200=not working.
Then to S7 300 & S7 200 found S7 300 in Simatic manager 5.4 and talked.
In Step7 V4 micro/win found 126 unknown nodes when connected to S7200 then on to S7 300 = not talking to S7 200
In Step7 V4 micro/win found 2 unknown nodes when connected to S7300 then on to S7 200 = not talking to S7 200

I understand that PPI = point to point S7 200 and MPI is multi point S7 300. I thought they were both 2 wire 485 with the profibus protocol on top.
I think the only way is to try source a RS232 tp PPI converter. Help if you can?

Rigicon, my thought was to add a S7-200 DP Module (EM277) 277-0AA22-0X0A, this would then allow you to set your comms in microwin to DP and then access through the profibus cable.

Unfortunatly I don't have TS adaptor to try.

Or a RS232/PPI interconnection cable RS 468-5829 £93.
I am sure I had a rs232 round here before I updated to USB. Could change my serial to ethernet to USB to ethernet.
