Anyone work with Sureservo from Automation Direct? My question concerns the Digital Inputs DI 1-8. I am communicating Modbus and using the upper byte
also but have programmed 2 of the digital inputs as:
22 Reverse Inhibit (Over-travel - Normally Closed)
23 Forward Inhibit (Over-travel - Normally Closed)
Thinking this would be straight forward to set up a prox to stop in forward & one for reverse but when one is tripped the fault inhibits both directions.
I was hoping to set this up as the over-travel safety but should it contact say the forward I would have to physically move it off the switch where I thought I would still be able to jog reverse
