Twido suite and Telemechanique PLC

[FONT=&quot]I created a program and compiled it with no errors, changed the program hardware configuration to match the plc.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]If I try to connect I get the error, no idea what I'm doing wrong.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]I repeately get this error:[/FONT]
Communications error. Check the Modbus Driver parameters, controller connections or powersuply


[FONT=&quot]I'm running win 10 64bit[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Twidosuite 2.20.11 (fresh install and registered)[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Win 64 Modbus Serial Driver V3.0[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]I'm connecting thru a Eminent(EM1016) usb to rs232 converter (COM7)[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]TFTXCP025 cable[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]TWDLCDA24DRF telemechanique PLC[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]I'm a teacher and I need to resurect these old PLC's I have some electronic skills but I need some guidane to fix these plc's. I have several different plc's to repair and multiple programming cables at my disposal. I've tried several cables with the same result not sure where the problem is located. [/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Tested 3 cables[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Tested two usb to serial converters (a student was able to upload his program with the eminent converter other plc)[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Rebooted twido suite[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot] [/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Info:[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]I need to mention if I try to load the program from the plc it sees a project prj_29437 but fails to complete. [/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]I do get an error getting to download page:[/FONT]

Twidosuite is pretty old software.
2.20 needed Windows 2000 or XP windows version.


2.31.4 worked with win7 32 and 64.



Try installing virtual windows and XP or win7, your Win10 is probably reason for all.

It is also possible that PLC is programmed earlier with newer twidosuite.
