1756 ENBT "Unrecognized Device" in VMWare Workstation

Yes, I had spotted that anomaly. That's why I always say supported "officially", as some thing may work and some things may not. The overall environment on the other laptop, and not just Rockwell related, may be somewhat different enough to have overcome this issue. But for you to identify what might be that difference would be difficult and likely time consuming. A commodity we don't like to waste too much of. Also, Rockwell would either way be advising you to move to a supported version/environment pairing, rather than also spend their time trying to figure this out.
