Anyone have some advice? I build the project and have no errors. I can login and logout, but never have the ability to create a boot project or download to the PLC.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

It's in simulation mode. I just need to figure out how to turn it off. The button for simulate is grayed out regardless of what I do and what mode I put it in. I also tried typing it in the command line. No luck...

I don't have all the answers for Codesys, but from my past experience, I took it in and out of simulation mode under the Online tab. Is that what you are referring to is grayed out?

Just for the sake of adding to this thread for someone in the future, the problem was no target was selected. If no target is selected, it will treat it as a simulation.

Another note is if you add a target, which you will have to, it will wipe your PLC IO configuration. I read somewhere that there's a way you can save it as an XML and bring it in, but I didn't find how to do it.

Thanks!
