Configuration of an OPC server in ArchestrA IDE

Hey there!

I have a query regarding the configuration of the OPC data server in the ArchestrA Galaxy, I understand that when the data server does not correspond to Wonderware, the template $OPCClient should be used, however; I don't know how to configure that server in the galaxy.

I would like to know if the General field is correctly configured, the server I use is RSLinx, and how I should configure the Scan Group field.

If there is any example or guide showing the configuration of an OPC server in the ArchestrA IDE it would be suitable.

I have never used Archestra, my experience is with Rockwell Software only.
Normally the first thing you have to do is to install your OPC Server, normally this server is install on the same machine where HMI (Scada) is installed. Though in some cases I have installed OPC server on a different machine.
You have to configure your OPC server to get data from your plcs.
Then you have to connect your OPC sever to your scada and from that point on you can start to get data from plc and show data on your scada.
