I have a Redlion PTV and Graphite with built in webserver...
I can create the simple default.htm page... drag in tags to display data etc...

is it possible to build and host a web form html page that I can connect to an SQL (express db) and have some controls on the page for example, start date, end date, filter by... batch code etc etc...

not getting anything from Redlion UK support of any worth while examples... or even a yes or no...

any help appreciated...

Hopefully someone with more knowledge will chip in, but here are my low end thoughts.

The Crimson 3.1 manual has a chapter on connecting to an SQL database and grabbing data, page 221:
http://www.redlion.cn/sites/default/files/Crimson 3.1 Manual English (Revision 2) 12MB.pdf

Here is a tech note on making a connection to an SQL database:
http://www.redlion.net/sites/defaul...310 and G315 - SQL Synchronization TNIA28.pdf

This shows you how to create web pages and include tag data:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4yYqTmSt0xc

So all that says you can get data from an SQL database in to tags on the HMI, and you can display the tags on an internal web page. So I think, 'computer says yes'.
