Just noticed our trends are not showing up correctly. We datalog to the server using the rockwell file sets. I believe if you leave it on the trend page long enough, it eventually shows up correctly. i have noticed on some of out 30 second trends, it shows the trend going "back in time" and the lines overlap and look like Z's. I think the pictures can explain the best.

this is how it looks when you first open the trend.

and this is what it looks like when you zoom in.

Time synch?

Is the PC getting a time update from a time server, perhaps rolling back the clock? Then RSView connects the breaks and makes it looks like a backward "z"? Just a WAG.

dang. pretty good wag. all of the pc's were set to "adjust for daylight savings" and the server wasn't.

Everything appears to be normal. Thanks!

I've been involved with systems that involved several projects running concurrently and time stamps were critical. IOW, I've been here before. Hopefully it didn't cause you as much pain as it did me. :D
