Hi everybody!

I'm trying to communicate via modbus TCP an M340 and a Siemens Sentron PAC3200. I've tried with the I/O scanning and with the command 'read_var', buy I haven't been able to communicate.
By the way, with a free utility called 'simply modbus TCP' the Siemens answers all Modbus commands perfectly.
Have anybody tried to do this?
Thank you very much.

Just a quick thought - did you set the unit id. i/o scanning defaults to 255 maybe try 1.
I have been caught on SEW which need a unit id of 0, unfortunately this is an invalid id (in modbus 0 is a broadcast message). Hopefully the Siemens device wont have this problem.

Hello everybody!! I have the same problem as you, how did you solve it? I have no success neither using an M340 nor a Premium PLC, neither using I/O Scanning nor using READ_VAR() or DATA_EXCH().
Any opinion or idea??
Regards.
