I have some SLC 150 still running in my plant and have been asked if I can back up all programs ( which is done twice) and document. The problem I am having is the program i have is "SLC Logistics Revision 2.09" and I am running it with dosbox. My problems is I do not know how to configurator for an old style printer. Is there some where I can find a manual on this program and/or is there a way to configur for a USB style printer. The Program Header is SLCU

Links to a great site for more info:

PS. Many threads on this site. Use keyword slc100 in the Advanced SearchBox.

I have slowdos.exe and slowdos.bat files that will help with the configuring if you need it.

Hi Nick. I’m not familiar with SLC Logistics Revision 2.09. I do have PSIC. This is the program that I used to program the SLC 150’s that I have in the plant. This program runs in DOS only. When I want a print out the program, I send the program to a file. Then into WordPad where I can print to any printer on the network. Where it asked for the printer I can put the name of a file. You might have to do some editing
Hope this is some help. If you need more info feel free to ask.

Pat

PCIS was the old Allen-Bradley software for the SLC-100 and SLC-150 controllers.

SLC Ladder Logistics, aka "AI-100/150", was made by ICOM, Inc.

I've always had these old programs print to a "serial printer", then capture that serial output with either a virtual serial port or sometimes a physical serial port. The data just dumps into Hyperterminal or Tera Term and I save it as a *.TXT file for cleanup and printout.

Ken that is a slick idea I never thought about using the serial print and capture idea. Thanks
