What specific

When you get started with that manual you know the controls of TIA Portal. What kind of manuals you need more? For example: specific programming blocks/language?
 
When you have worked true the getting strated manual you can find more info in the help function in TIA. You get this help function by pressing F1 when the block of whatever you want info is slected.

That's why i am looking for Detail Manual of TIA portal.
 
I like reading manuals, it might make me a bit weird, but I like to go through a manual discovering Instructions that I would never find by using the help system. I have migrated from the S7-200 to TIA Portal Basic and the manuals are still nowhere near as good as the MicroWin manuals. The instructions aren't well explained and the examples are sparse, I guess it will get better over time. Anyway back to your question, go to:

Then use the product tree to narrow the range, Automation Technology / Industrial Automation System / Software for Simatic Controllers / Step 7 TIA Portal then select Manual as your entry type.

Hopefully you will find what you require.

With the IEC timer it's posible to give an value from outside at the PT, the data type must be a TIME value. You can give the value on the outside ore connect the PT to a marker or the value in a DB. Those last values can be changed in your HMI by connecting it to an IO field.

The IO field also can be used as numeric input.

Hi Guys. I am new to Tia portal and have an issue downloading DB's and FC's. I want to be able to download one at a time like simatic manager. When i download now the entire project downloads which is a big issue as it puts the PLC in stop before restarting. Anyone else have this issue?? Many thanks in advance.

you should be able to right click on the block you want and select download.

Or you can open that block, make necessary edits and click the download button at the top.
 
It gets a bit complicated and may well be different depending on which version of TIA you are using. Unless you enable the 'Download without reinitialisation' in a DB properties then it seems to have to stop the PLC to download any changes to a DB. You can only enable this function for those DBs set as Optimised. I don't know if you can select to download a single block when you are Offline, but I know you can make changes whilst Online and then it only downloads the changed FCs.
